Coast Path Connectors project gets underway

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the South West Coast Path Association has recently launched an exciting new Coast Path Connectors project that aims to open up coastal walking to a range of new audiences. This project will help improve equity of access along the South West Coast Path by supporting local people in making the most of our amazing trail, for their health and well-being, through a network of new volunteers.

Spring water sourced a stone’s throw away from the South West Coast Path

An award-winning sustainable business, Devonia Water, has joined the South West Coast Path Association as a sponsor of the Trailblazer Walk during our 50th anniversary year. We are delighted to have them step on board and look forward to them joining us on the walk when we pass through their South Devon section of the coast path.

Fifty Pictures for 50 Years

Artist Emma Scattergood is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Association by sketching 50 pictures along the South West Coast Path as she attempts to walk 630-miles over the year, and raise funds for the charity at the same time! We will be following her journey and sharing her work as part of our trailblazing celebrations. This first blog, written by Emma, explains why she was inspired to take on the project and what she hopes will be some of the outcomes from walking and sketching the South West Coast Path during 2023.
