Following the acorn
For university students, the long summer break is a great chance to do some globe-trotting or work to earn some extra cash or valuable experience . But with strict travel restrictions in place, and many businesses not recruiting – this year was a bit different. One student however, decided to look on the bright side and use the time to explore a world-class hiking trail that’s right on the doorstep. Joe Biggins tells us about his experience following the acorn on the South West Coast Path.

Fundraiser and professional walk-leader from Cornwall, Stephanie Boon, knows that Trails can’t live on love alone. Here she tells us why she is so keen to give something back to the SWCPA and how you can join her on her 10 mile hikes:
Between the Green and the Blue

Survey reveals South West Coast Path has been a lifeline during lockdown
During lockdown we surveyed over 1,000 people to find out what the Coast Path means to them and the results have been quite staggering.
Could a self-guided walking holiday be just the ticket?
Normally, the summer holidays are a chance for us to step away from the boring day-to-day and go on a true adventure. A few blissful weeks of less screen time, more green time, where you excitedly set your out of office and head off to explore the great outdoors. But with Covid-19 throwing somewhat of a proverbial spanner in the works, many of us are at a bit of a loss when it comes to holiday plans this year.
