During Mental Health Awareness week (11-17 May), we’ve been reflecting on how walking along the South West Coast Path is a simple, powerful way to support mental health. Whether it’s just a few steps or the whole 630 miles, we know the Path moves people, and we love supporting people in getting out and enjoying this incredible natural asset. Windy, fresh, breezy and bracing - all words to describe what it feels like to walk on the Coast Path at the moment! But those views, and that precious ribbon of trail between the green and blue never ceases to deliver awe inspiring views. Happy #nationalwalkingmonth 🥾 A recent Coast Path Connectors walker summed it up perfectly: The coastal environment of the South West Coast Path is a constant source of inspiration and creativity for artists, and we are delighted to continue our feature series ‘Inspired by the Coast’, and introduce sculptor, @taylordonj. Moments captured on the Coast Path in Cornwall. Blue skies, a seal feeding in the shallows of the bay, and wildflowers adding colour to the landscape. We love spring on the trail! 🌼🌸🌱🦭 🌊🚶‍♀️ Celebrate National Walking Month with a little inspiration from the @classic_cottages team!
