What a blooming beautiful time of year for walking the South West Coast Path. Moments captured on the Coast Path in Cornwall. May is National Walking Month and what better way to kick things off than with a long weekend on the South West Coast Path? Last week we were thrilled to take part in the City Nature Challenge, an international event promoted locally by the @plymsoundnmp, where people around the world find and document the wildlife in and around their city. On Friday we led a group for a 6-mile walk from Cremyll to Kingsand, Maker and back through Mt Edgcumbe Park, recording some of the wildflowers, invertebrates and bird life along the way. The group recorded 25 species of wildflowers, 8 species of invertebrates and 10 species of birds.
