Introducing Ian Banfield as part of our Volunteers' Week focus. Ian has volunteered with the Plymouth Coast Path Connectors for two years, leading Cancer Support walks alongside his dog, Bracken 🐾 Today is World Trails Day 🌍 Volunteers' Week celebrations continue and today we are introducing Tracey Upton who began walking with our Coast Path Connectors (North Devon) in 2024 and now co-leads North Devon Carers walks, while also supporting her husband on Cancer Support Walks. Today, as part of Volunteers’ Week, we are introducing Terry Sweeney, one of our Planning Reps based on the Jurassic Coast. Terry has been involved with the South West Coast Path for over 40 years, even helping to make the trail walker-friendly when the Path was in its infancy – he’s a true trailblazer! Volunteers' Week celebrations continue, and today we meet Sharon Whale, who has volunteered with the Cornwall Coast Path Connectors hub for over a year, leading 1–2 walks a month and encouraging others to get involved. Continuing our celebration of Volunteers’ Week, today we’re introducing Richard Maunder, Path Rep for Constantine Bay to Watergate Bay in North Cornwall and Area Path Rep for Padstow to Hayle. Richard is one of 60 volunteers at the charity who walk their section of the path in winter as part of our SWCP annual survey.
