Inspired by the Coast: Sam Godfrey

Sam Godfrey is a multidisciplinary artist, writer and curator currently studying for a PhD in Art History and Visual Culture by Practice at the University of Exeter. They work with textiles, sound and digital mediums to make large-scale installations that encourage touch, interaction and rest. As part of a new project, a poem and soundscape created by Sam has been installed as a QR code at the Ronald Duncan Writing Hut, which is located on the Coast Path as it passes from Marsland Mouth to Welcombe Mouth.

Nordic Walking in North Devon

In February, we’re launching our newest Couch to Coast project and this time, we’re going to be Nordic Walking in North Devon. The aim of this project is to help people aged 55 and over, get more active and meet likeminded people in their community.
